While the best and usual way of solving the problem is getting the thing fixed, other ways to deal with the situation would involve connecting a keyboard from a computer console to the lab top and use it to help you sign in and with the on-screen keyboard that you would use while the laptop is turned on, it would help improvise on typing and saving you a lot of money when saving it for something else
